Time off allowance usage periods, quick invitations and public API
With this update, we introduce the allowance usage period setting for time off rules. Additionally, you're now able to export time off balances, set up employee accounts in no time with quick invitations and start taking advantage of our public API.
Time off allowance usage period
In this update, we introduced the allowance usage period rules. This functionality allows you to decide when employees will be able to use their accrued time off allowance.
Quick employee invitations
We've added a way to easily invite multiple employees at once. It's especially helpful when you are getting started with kiwiHR and want to get everyone on board.
Introducing kiwiHR Public API
A new way to access your company data in kiwiHR, one that lets you build a wide set of solutions ranging from internal scripts, integrations to full-blown apps connected to kiwiHR. You can access the documentation from our homepage. Currently, the API documentation is limited to employee data.
Easier access to employee profiles
Along with numerous interface and user experience improvements, we've added an option to access employee profiles from various places across the application. Simply hover over employee avatar and click. This speeds up access to employee data.
Time off balances export
We've introduced an option to export current time off balances. You can access it by going to company balances and clicking the export button located at the top right.
Easier time off policy access
We've made it simpler to find out the time off policy an employee is assigned to when viewing their time off balances details.
- We took some time to prepare a selection of default data to make getting started with kiwiHR quicker and easier for new companies. From now on, new company accounts are pre-filled with common time off policies, work schedules, positions and more.
- We have made improvements to overtime calculation. From now on, calculations are carried out when you start using our Attendance module.
That's all for now! We're looking forward to bringing you more updates next month. As always we'd love to hear from you if you have any feedback or ideas for kiwiHR. You can also check our ideas public board here.
